PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging probe for OCT, capable of being safely inserted into a living body, emitting light to the periphery and receiving reflected light.SOLUTION: A cover 58 of the probe is cylindrical and narrow with the outer diameter of not more than 1 mm&phgr;, and the distal end face of the cover is rounded outward. An optical fiber or reflector is rotated within the probe. In this way, the influence of the imaging probe on the living body can be reduced when the imaging probe is inserted into the living body, and a cross-sectional image of the periphery can be obtained by using an OCT apparatus. |
