PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided to be able to prevent short-circuit between an electrode layer of a battery and a metal layer, and corrosion of the metal layer by emitting the inside heat and reaction gas to outside with opening a first inner resin layer, and equipping a second inner resin layer with a high melting point. CONSTITUTION: A lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly (20) composed of a cathode, an anode and a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode; non-aqueous liquid electrolyte inserted into the electrode assembly; and a pouch type case (10) providing a space for the electrode assembly and sealed. The case comprises a laminated sheet successively laminated with a first inner resin layer, a second inner resin layer, a metal layer and an outer resin layer. The first inner resin layer forms the sealing area of the case. The melting point of the first inner resin layer is lower than the melting point of the separator and the second inner resin layer. |
