PURPOSE: Estimate calculation system and method are provided to reduce man-hour by automatically calculating an estimate of construction which a client wants to bid. CONSTITUTION: An input unit (110) receives detail information about marine construction required for calculating an estimate calculation of marine construction and an estimate calculation command. A display unit (120) displays overall information generated when calculating the estimate of the marine construction. A memory unit (130) stores the overall program for generating the estimate of the marine construction. An estimate calculation unit (150) calculates an estimate of the marine construction in accordance with the detail information about the marine construction according to the estimate calculation command. A database (140) makes the detail information of the marine construction into a DB and stores. The database offers the detail information of the marine construction according to a request of the estimate calculation unit.
