PURPOSE: A system for providing an online game through a mobile communications terminal and a method thereof are provided to provide a different online game according to an action of a user character thereby maximizing a fun factor of the online game. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal (101) is controlled by a user. A second terminal (102) controlled by the user is different from the first terminal. A game server (120) communicates with the first and second terminals through a network. A user authenticating unit (122) performs login of the first and second terminals using a user account of the user. A game progress unit (123) transmits game progress information about each of multiple characters stored in the user account. A control unit (121) transmits the game progress information about an action of a first character included in the multiple characters to the first terminal. The control unit transmits the game progress information about a second character to the second terminal.
