PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permeation-separation membrane capable of improving permeability of ethanol without impairing ethanol selectivity remarkably when concentrating ethanol from an aqueous ethanol solution using an evaporation-permeation method, and a method of production thereof.SOLUTION: An asymmetrical porous membrane includes a resin composition composed mostly of a polymer, the main unit of which is 1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne. The asymmetrical porous membrane has an open hole. By use of the asymmetrical porous membrane in the evaporation-permeation method, ethanol is concentrated efficiently from the ethanol aqueous solution.
