PURPOSE: A tripod type constant velocity joint is provided to improve assembly productivity through the simplification of components and to improve the intensity of a strike outer by integrating the function of a retainer ring to the strike outer. CONSTITUTION: A tripod type constant velocity joint comprises a housing, a spider (33), a needle roller (36), an outer roller (35), and a pair of strike outers (37a,37b). The housing transmits the rotation power of an engine and comprises a track groove inside. The spider is connected to one end of the shaft to be installed inside the housing. The spider comprises three trunnions to insert into the track groove. The needle roller is installed on the outer periphery of the trunnion of the spider. The outer roller is installed on the outer periphery of the needle roller to reduce the friction between the shaft and the housing. A pair of strike outers is assembled in the top of the needle roller and is connected to each other into a circular shape.
