摘要 The invention relates to the mechanical engineering , in patricular to formation of capillary channels. The aim of the invention is simplification and price undercutting of the capillary channel formation technology. On the solid rotating body (2) of length L the thread (3) is wound with step l, and placed between two rotating bodies (4) with a length of L. Total number K of capillary channels (1) is set up from expression K = 2m (n - 1 ) (N - 1), where: m is the number of bodies with thread wrapped around greater or equal to 1; n is the number of thread windings on the body greater or equal to 2; N is the number of bodies put together greater or equal to 2. Bodies wrapped with the threads are placed between rotating bodies with and without windings; in addition, the number of threads without windings in construction satisfy the expression: M is greater or equal to m + 1. The windings of thread are set up with a step l between them so as to satisfy the condition L> l> 0. The bodies are made of an electrically conductive material cylinder, and their surface roughness does not exceed 0,1 of thread diameter. The invention is applicable in water electrolysis equipment for water splitting into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) with the help of applied voltage. Gases are produced together for on-site use, and can be separated and stored for further use as needed.
