FIELD: biotechnologies.SUBSTANCE: new strains of Madin-Derby canine kidney cells (MDCK) are described. Strains are used to cultivate viruses, in particular, a flu virus, in cell culture to a higher titre compared to previously achieved titres. MDCK cells may be adapted to cultural medium without serum.
