A kit for predicting atrial fibrillation includes polynucleotide for predicting atrial fibrillation or the corresponding polynucleotide. A prediction method of atrial fibrillation comprises the following steps: analyzing 10-50 continuous DNA sequences which include 27th base (polymorphic site) among the polynucleotides of the sequence number 4(SEQ ID NO:4) or the corresponding sequence from a recording media which can be read by computer; and classifying patients into a group which has potential to be electric anatomical remodeling of atrium if the 27th base of the gene sequence is A.
