MENU SETTING VALUE RESTORING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE: A device for restoring a menu setting value of a measuring instrument and a method thereof are provided to store every setting value during an operation, thereby restoring the measuring instrument to a state of abnormal termination. CONSTITUTION: When a menu setting value of a measuring instrument is changed in an operation state, a menu setting value storing/loading module (210) generates a restoration file; stores a step progress situation in a transaction storage unit of the restoration file corresponding to menu setting; and stores contents of a menu related to a setting value which is stored in the transaction storage unit, order, and hierarchical structure in a menu definition unit and a menu structure unit of the restoration file. The menu setting value storing/loading module reads the contents stored in the restoration file corresponding to a restoration request. A menu restoration module (220) restores the menu setting value corresponding to the contents stored in the menu definition unit and the menu structure unit.
