RSERF1 GENE FROM RAPHANUS SATIVUS AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: Raphanus sativus L.-derived Raphanus sativus ethylene responsive transcription factor 1 (RsERF1) gene is provided to control environmental stress resistance and to develop a transgenic plant with enhanced environmental stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: Raphanus sativus L.-derived RsERF1 protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A gene encodes the protein and has a base sequence of sequence number 1. A recombinant vector contains the gene. A method for producing a transgenic plant with enhanced environmental stress resistance comprises the steps of: transforming plant cells with the recombinant vector; and redifferentiating plants from the transformed plant cells.
