PURPOSE: A file synchronization method and a system are provided to determine a file providing server corresponding to a terminal location and synchronize a file of a terminal, thereby preventing network delay and synchronization execution degradation. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(601) receives a terminal registration request from a server in a domain cloud system or a terminal which accesses the domain cloud system. The receiving unit receives a synchronization request from the server in the domain cloud system. A registration unit(602) executes registration of the terminal corresponding to the terminal registration request. A synchronization unit(603) synchronizes a file of the terminal corresponding to the synchronization request. When the receiving unit receives the terminal registration request, a control unit(604) registers the terminal. When the receiving unit receives the synchronization request, the control unit synchronizes the file of the terminal.
