PURPOSE: A Corynebacterium glutamicum strain with improved putrescine productivity is provided to attenuate the activity of NCgl1469 protein compared with intrinsic activity and to produce high concentration putrescine. CONSTITUTION: A Corynebacterium sp. microorganism with improved putrescine productivity has a protein of which activity is attenuated or deleted in a mutant Corynebacterium sp. microorganism, compared with intrinsic activity. The protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 18 or 20. A method for producing putrescine comprises the steps of: culturing the Corynebacterium sp. microorganism with improved putrescine productivity; and isolating putrescine from the culture of the Corynebacterium sp. microorganism.
