MEMBRANE MODULE USING HALLOW FIBER

PURPOSE: A hollow fiber membrane module is provided to alleviate pollution generated in the upper side of a submerged type hollow fiber membrane module and to effectively remove particulate materials of various sizes. CONSTITUTION: A hollow fiber membrane module comprises a hollow fiber membrane (110), a lower supporting unit (120), a collector (130), an air injecting pipe (140), and a porous air diffusing pipe (150). The lower supporting unit fixes and supports the hollow fiber membrane. An inlet is formed on the lower supporting unit and allows penetrated water to flow to the hollow fiber membrane. The collector collects the penetrated water from the hollow fiber membrane. The air injecting pipe is fastened with the hollow fiber membrane and the lower supporting unit. The air diffusing pipe is fastened with the air injecting pipe at the location which is spaced apart from the lower side of the hollow fiber membrane. A plurality of pores is formed on the air diffusing pipe in order to spray air. The pores are toward the lower side of the hollow fiber membrane.
