PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a video editing method thereof are provided to provide a capacity prediction guide when editing the video, thereby optimizing the video editing. CONSTITUTION: A memory (160) stores the video and receiver device information. A display unit (151) indicates a video editing screen. If the video, which will be transmitted in the video editing mode, is transmitted, a control unit (180) predicts the capacity which is able for the transmission, based on the device information stored in the memory. The control unit indicates the capacity prediction guide capable of performing the cut-out into the user desired capacity, on one side of the video editing screen.
