PURPOSE: A slide switch is provided to reduce the penetration of foreign materials from a side wall and engagement by forming a foreign material discharge groove. CONSTITUTION: A slide switch (1) comprises a main body (14), a slider (11) which is held on the main body (14) and slides by the insertion of an object, a terminal which includes a fixed contact point (131a) arranged on the side facing the slider of the main body in a sliding direction, and a contact piece (12) which is attached to the slider and includes a movable contact point which moves on the fixed contact point of the main body corresponding to the movement of the slider. A side wall protrudes from the end of the attachment surface of the contact piece of the slider in a sliding direction. A foreign material discharge groove is formed on one of either the sliding surface of the side wall and the sliding surface of the main body. |
