PURPOSE: A sheet pile type complex modular bridge abutment and a construction method for the same are provided to construct an abutment using a simple process when rapid construction for small-span bridges is necessary. CONSTITUTION: A construction method for a sheet pile type complex modular bridge abutment comprises the following steps: installing a plurality of piles (12) to be linearly in touch each other by driving the piles to a front surface in which a vertical wall abutment is to be positioned; positioning the piles to be collinear with the central axis of a bridge seat device for supporting the upper plate of a bridge; pouring concrete to a plurality of pile heads to construct a bridge seat supporting beam (20); connecting an anchoring device (30) on the rear surface of the bridge seat supporting beam and the pile at a predetermined gap; and compacting reinforced soil and anchoring the anchoring device to the ground. |
