The assembly (1) has fabric ribbons (20, 21) secured to a side of legs (11, 12) of trousers (10). The ribbons are located in a peripheral portion of one of the legs and diametrically arranged opposite to the other leg. The ribbons extend over entire length of the legs. A set of interchangeable decorative fabric bands (30-34) comprises two sets of faces (30A-34A, 30B-34B), where one of the sets of the faces of the bands is provided with textile hooks to grip textile loops of the ribbons. The other set of the faces of the bands comprises visual aspects that are different from each other. The trousers are designed as urban trousers i.e. jeans.
