PURPOSE: An engine start safety control device and a control method of an agriculture vehicle are provided to determine whether an intension is manipulated by a driver or not through signals sensed through multiple sensing units in starting an engine, and to block a power source through a relay control by a controller when an intension is not manipulated. CONSTITUTION: An engine start safety control device of an agriculture vehicle comprises a forward backward driving sensing unit (20), a revolution per minute (RPM) sensing unit (30), a car speed detecting unit (40), a solenoid (50), a power connection sensing unit (60), a controller (10), and a relay (70). The forward and backward sensing unit senses whether a driver manipulates a vehicle intentionally or not. The RPM sensing unit determines whether an engine is driving or not, and a driving start time. The car speed detecting unit senses whether a vehicle is starting or not. The solenoid controls an opening and a closing of an electronic fluid path by connecting with a switch in which a connection is made by an instrument manipulating device operation. The power connection sensing unit detects whether a power is connecting according to a machinery fluid path and an electronic fluid path opening and closing or not. The controller controls an electric signal of the solenoid and the sensing units. The relay is connected electrically with the controller, and controls a vehicle main power source by receiving the electric signal outputted from the controller.
