PURPOSE: A paper for high speed ink jet printing is provided to control the kind and the content of a certain pulp as a fiber material for the paper and to properly size the paper, thereby improving printing concentration, printing uniformity, bleeding, and acutance. CONSTITUTION: A paper for high speed ink jet printing is formed by coating a size agent on a base paper having pulp fiber and filler. The pulp fiber includes over 70 wt% of laub holze bleached kraft pulp (LBKP), and the number of vessels in an applied tree is below 300 (per 100000 fibers). The size degree of the paper is below 10 seconds. The pulp fiber includes below 30 wt% of bleached chemo thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP). The size agent includes 1 to 50 wt% of a cationic resin. The paper is applied to high speed printing at over 32m/min.
