PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing method and device.SOLUTION: A video processing method comprises: a step for classifying input video into prescribed video categories in accordance with a feature of a brightness histogram of the input video; and a step for adjusting brightness of the input video in accordance with a tone mapping function corresponding to the video categories and positions of pixels constituting the input video.
