PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a money management device which allows for changing settings of denominations of money to be accommodated in compartments of a storage unit.SOLUTION: A money management device of the present invention includes; a storage unit having a plurality of compartments for accommodating and storing money; measurement means for individually measuring weight of money accommodated and stored in each of the compartments; and arithmetic means for calculating an amount of money accommodated and stored in each of the components based on the results of measurement made by the measurement means, and obtaining the total amount for all the compartments. Each of the compartments is assigned with a single denomination of money to be accommodated and stored, which can be changed at will, and the arithmetic means calculates an amount of money accommodated and stored in each compartment based on information associated with the assigned denomination of money and then calculates a total amount for all the compartments. |
