PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of securing good display performance by suppressing generation of point defects and the like, and of enhancing a long-term reliability, in a display device using an organic light-emitting element.SOLUTION: An interval between an organic light-emitting element 106 and an encapsulation substrate 101 is controlled at an upper end of a bank 107 provided to a pixel part 120 and an upper end of an insulating film 108 provided to a drive circuit part. Clearance is provided between the organic light-emitting element and the encapsulation substrate to suppress damage of the organic light-emitting element. Further, since an element substrate and the encapsulation substrate can be made as close as possible, moisture infiltrated from a lateral face of a display device can be maintained to be little. |
