PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of running tests of a tested vehicle as indicated on a chassis dynamometer.SOLUTION: A driver's aid apparatus 5 causes a running speed pattern 12, which is a driving pattern for evaluating the performance of a tested vehicle 6 as indicated on a chassis dynamometer, to be displayed on a driver's aid display device 4. Topographic information 13 on a road surface on which running tests are to be carried out is displayed in an area where the running speed pattern 12 of the driver's aid display device 4 is to be displayed (a main screen 11). A marker 14 indicating the state of the vehicle is displayed at the intersection between this topographic information 13 and a reference line 15 indicating the current position of the tested vehicle, and this marker 14 is displayed with an inclination according to the grade of the road surface on which running tests are to be carried out. Also, a curve band 28 representing curve information on the road surface on which running tests are to be carried out is shown on the main screen 11, and the color of the curve band 28 is varied with the angle of the curve. Further, the running speed pattern 12 is prepared on the basis of GPS or map data 10. |
