The invention relates to a method for producing silage containing cactus and argan-tree by-products. The silage is prepared by grinding cactus fruit waste (I), obtaining a ground material (2), and separating the fruit seeds (3) from the ground material (2) so as to obtain a seedless puree of peel and pulp (4). The puree (4) is then combined with a mixture (5) consisting of urea, mineral salts, and wheat bran so as to obtain a first mixture (6). The latter is combined with ground argan pulp (7), argan meal (8), and ground straw (9) so as to obtain a second mixture (10), which is anaerobically preserved and subjected to lactic acid fermentation (II). After a two- to three-week preservation period, silage (12) is produced, which is combined with a correcting agent (13) and dispensed as a complete and balanced food item to ruminants raised as livestock. |
