A drive control unit (6) in an inverter control device configured from a small-capacity capacitor (32) includes: a flux estimation unit (17) for estimating the flux linkage of an electric motor (5), on the basis of the armature current of the electric motor (5), which has a high proportion of reluctance torque; and a current phase difference adjustment unit (14) for adjusting the phase difference of the current in relation to the induced voltage generated by the electric motor (5). In addition, the drive control unit (6) is configured so as to adjust the phase using the current phase difference adjustment unit in a manner such that the flux linkage estimated value estimated by the flux estimation unit (17) is at or below a prescribed set value, and one or more of the following values is a minimum value: the average value of the current command value applied to the electric motor (5), the average value of the root-mean-square value of the armature current, and the average value of the peak value of the armature current. |
