METHOD FOR MEASURING THROMBIN GENERATION

The present invention provides a novel method for measuring thrombin generation, comprising: (a) a step of adding plasma to a rhodamine thrombin substrate; (b) a step of obtaining a thrombogram; and (c) a step of deducing the concentration of thrombin from the thrombogram of step (b). The method of the present invention may minimize the volume of a reaction mixture and thus significantly shorten a reaction time, thereby clinically detecting the risk of bleeding or thrombosis in a quick manner. The method of the present invention has advantages of using conventional, widely used PCR equipment, thereby easily obtaining a result without installing additional expensive equipment. Further, the present invention provides a kit for measuring thrombin generation.
