TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE AND PELTIER ELEMENT CONTROL METHOD

[Problem] To provide a temperature adjustment device that is capable of using a Peltier element to efficiently adjust the temperature of a battery or other electronic device mounted in a vehicle. [Solution] A temperature regulation device is characterized: by comprising a Peltier element and a Peltier element control section that controls power supplied to the Peltier element; and in that, by means of supplying the power to the Peltier element, the Peltier element control section does not provide the power to the Peltier element when a temperature difference has increased above a first specified value. By means of the power being supplied, said Peltier element permits heat exchange between: the electronic device mounted in the vehicle; and a heat exchange section of the vehicle. Said temperature difference is the difference between: the temperature of a first surface that is a heat radiation surface of the Peltier element; and the temperature of a second surface that is a heat absorption surface.
