A tool clamping/unclamping device of a machining center spindle is provided to clamp or unclamp a tool at a predetermined position of a spindle. A spindle body(20) is lifted at the side of a column. A spindle(40) is installed in the spindle body to rotate a tool by a driving motor(30). A draw bar(50) chucks the tool mounted on the spindle. A disc spring(60) is supported by the spindle. The disc spring generates a clamping force of the tool. A slid(70) moves down the draw bar. An unclamp lever(80) is pivoted to the spindle body. The unclamp lever is connected to the spindle at the upper portion of the slide. A cam is used to automatically operate the lever. The cam unclamps the tool by rotating the other end of the unclamp lever when the spindle body reaches a predetermined position. |
