PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code pattern recording device capable of improving design characteristics of a recording medium.SOLUTION: A code pattern recording device is provided with a printer 16 which is capable of printing upon a character card KC, as optically readable optical information, a two-dimensional bar code QR which has been created in compliance with a predetermined specification so that information related to a game result is embedded, and which, on the basis of image data for printing the optical information upon the character card KC, prints the optical information upon the character card KC. In addition, the code pattern recording device generates, as optical recording data, post-conversion data for expressing a black/white-inverted two-dimensional bar code NB in which the two-dimensional bar code QR has been converted with a predetermined procedure, and outputs the post-conversion data to the printer 16 so that the black/white-inverted two-dimensional bar code NB will be printed upon the character card KC as optical information. |
