PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generating body and a heat generating member that can be heated in a short period of time by being irradiated with microwaves, thus shortening a cooking time.SOLUTION: A heat generating body is a mixture of carbide generating heat by being irradiated with microwaves, a flame-retardant agent for restricting a temperature rise of the carbide to a set target temperature, and an adhesive for mutually bonding the flame-retardant agent and the carbide. The heat generating body is formed into a thin and flat sheet-like shape that can obtain a caloric content sufficient to make a food product nice and brown by the radiation of microwaves. |
