PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can appropriately reflect the state of the web server when the user interface screen is constructed by using the web browser that communicates with the web server.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 displays a user interface screen on a display means based on the web page data that is received from a web server 24, using a web browser 22 that communicates with the web server 24. Moreover the image forming apparatus 10 includes: a task monitoring part 27 that obtains status information on the task related to the web server; and a determination part 28 that determines whether the web server is accessible, based on the status information. Further, a notification part 29 of the image forming apparatus 10 notifies an operating user that the web server 24 is inaccessible, by changing a display content of the user interface screen by the web browser 22, in response to the determination that the web server 24 is inaccessible. |
