PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger that prevents a brazing material from flowing into a conduit of a multihole tube.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 100 is manufactured by brazing components in a furnace, and includes headers 30, 40, multihole tube 10, spacers 51, 61, 71, and holding members 53, 63. The header has a main conduit 31a in which refrigerant flows, and a first portion 32. A communication hole 34 is formed in the first portion to communicate with the main conduit from a direction intersecting with an axial direction of the main conduit. A plurality of conduit holes 12a-12i in which refrigerant flows are arranged in the multihole tube in a first direction. A spacer is disposed between the first portion of the header and the multihole tube, to form a collecting space AR1 for collecting the refrigerant between the header and the multihole tube. The holding member is joined to a first portion of the header, the spacer, and an outer face of the multihole tube, to hold the header, spacer, and the multihole tube. The spacers form first spaces AR2-AR5 for storing the brazing material therein. The brazing material joins the header, spacer, and multihole tube. |
