PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device capable of precisely comparing different images displayed on plural image display devices, the light quantity from backlight of which is adjustable according to a piece of input image data, or displayed on plural display areas.SOLUTION: The image output device outputs plural pieces of image data to one or plural image display devices which are capable of controlling the light quantity of a backlight. The image output device includes determination means that determines whether the plural image data satisfy predetermined conditions; and control means that, when the determination means determines the plural image data satisfy the predetermined conditions, controls the one or plural image display devices so that at least either one of a light quantity of the backlight used for displaying the plural pieces of image data and a light emission control unit is identical to each other.
