NEW CAPPING ENZYME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CAPPED RNA AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high safety capping enzyme which can be obtained in a large scale by a simple method in high purity, and a capped RNA production method for efficiently producing high purity capped RNA in large scale suitably recognized by an RNA polymerase of an influenza virus by using the capping enzyme.SOLUTION: The method for producing capped RNA comprises an RNA synthesizing step of synthesizing RNA from a template DNA by using a T7RNA polymerase, and a capped structure addition step of adding a capped structure to the RNA synthesized in the RNA synthesizing step by using an enzyme having TPase activity, GTase activity and a specific amino acid sequence, an enzyme having MTase activity and a specific amino acid sequence, and an enzyme having a cap 1MTase activity and a specific amino acid sequence.
