PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an instrument for performing hybridization for electric field support when detection of a nucleic acid target from a sample is performed.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: providing a plurality of reaction cells having a dielectric coupling layer formed of a dielectric material specifying the connecting surface; installing a metal electrode in direct contact with the dielectric coupling layer; connecting a nucleic acid capture probe to the dielectric coupling layer; adding a sample to a reaction cell; and causing charge separation in the dielectric coupling layer by giving a potential to the metal electrode without generating current between the dielectric coupling layer and the sample and causing movement of electrons.
