PURPOSE: An image diagnostic apparatus and a main body for the same are provided to provide a light projecting surface in an end part of a cover body, thereby helping to easily observe a subject. CONSTITUTION: A cover body(120) is mounted in a main body. The cover body includes a proximal part, a distal part, and a connecting part. An elongated-type body(130) is inserted into the distal part through an inserting passage. The inserting passage connects a light concentrating space to an outside. The elongated-type body is extended to an end part of the distal part. |
