PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acrylate film having a small thickness, a desired optical development, a low internal haze, and a low production cost, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a liquid crystal display device exhibiting a large contrast between in the front direction and in the viewing angle direction, and a low crystal nonuniformity.SOLUTION: The cellulose acrylate film contains a cellulose acrylate having a whole degree of substitution of 1.5 to 2.6 and a sugar ester, satisfies the following expressions (1) and (2), has a thickness of 20 to 45 μm, an internal haze of 0.005 to 0.07%, and an Rth(550)/d of ≥3.4 (d is a film thickness in the unit of nm). Expression (1): 40 nm≤Re(550)≤60 nm. Expression (2): 100 nm≤Rth(550)≤300 nm. |
