PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circuit breaker including a wire type trip device, trip operation of which can be carried out easily and remotely, without impeding handle operation of a breaker.SOLUTION: The circuit breaker includes switching contacts for opening and closing an electrical circuit, and a wire type trip device built in the circuit breaker having a trip bar 6 for opening the switching contacts and operating the trip bar 6 from an external operating part via a drive wire 9. The wire type trip device 7 includes a body built-in section 8 having a trip lever 14 for operating the trip bar 6, and an internal actuator 13 for transmitting a driving force to the trip lever 14, and a transmission mechanism having a rotating plate 21 which is driven by the drive wire 9 to rotate. The trip bar 6 is actuated by driving the trip lever 14 via the internal actuator 13 with the driving force of the drive wire 9. |
