PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently separating a metal group B from a metal-mixed aqueous solution containing a metal group A comprising at least one selected from cobalt, nickel and lithium and the metal group B comprising at least one selected from copper, zinc, manganese, calcium, aluminum and iron.SOLUTION: A method of separating metal in a metal-mixed solution includes subjecting the metal-mixed aqueous solution containing a metal group A comprising at least one selected from cobalt, nickel, and lithium, and a metal group B comprising at least one selected from copper, zinc, manganese, calcium, aluminum, and iron to a solvent extraction process employing a mixed extractant comprising a phosphate ester-based extractant (hereinafter referred to as a first extractant) and an oxime-based extractant (hereinafter referred to as a second extractant) to separate the metal group B from the metal-mixed solution. |
