The crate (T1) i.e. bottle crate (1), has a quadratic or rectangular holding chamber for bottles or bundles of bottles. The holding chamber is laterally limited by side walls (2, 2a) and comprises structures in an interior region for stabilization and/or orientation of the bottles or the bundles of bottles. The holding chamber comprises an aperture at a top side for insertion of the bottles or bundles. The holding chamber is limited by a base (10) at a lower side. One of the side walls diagonally run from the top aperture to the lower-side base relative to a vertical solder (15). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an injection mold (2) a method for manufacturing a transport crate.
