<p>An imaging cartridge chip, an imaging cartridge, and a method for handling a recording material remaining level alarm. The imaging cartridge chip comprises an information storage unit (31), a delay alarm unit (32), and an analog sensor (33). The information storage unit (31) is for use in transmitting an alarm indication signal to the delay alarm unit when the remaining level of a recording material falls below a predetermined threshold. The delay alarm unit (32) is for use in extending the valid time of the alarm indication signal, where the valid time of the alarm indication signal is longer than the time of an interval in power supply from the imaging device to the information storage unit (31) and to the analog sensor (33). The analog sensor (33) is for use in issuing alarm information when the delay alarm unit (32) is detected to have kept the alarm indication signal, or in issuing recording material sufficient information when the delay alarm unit (32) is not detected to have kept the alarm indication signal.</p> |
