PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a resin composition excellent in thermal resistance, insulation properties, adhesion properties, and flexibility; a varnish; an enamel wire; and a rotating machine.SOLUTION: This invention is characterized in that a varnish after curing has a structure in which an insulating filler is chemically bonded to a copolymer of a low-dielectric-constant material having a bonding group of a high-heatproof material and a filler. Specifically a resin composition comprises: a high-heatproof maleimide; and a low-dielectric-constant and high-adhesive alkoxysilane having one or more binding vinyl.
