PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving generation efficiency of a thermoelectric element.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator 1 includes a thermoelectric element 11 and a casing accommodating the thermoelectric element 11. The casing includes a first casing member 12 and a second casing member 13 accommodating the thermoelectric element 11 in such a manner that the thermoelectric element 11 is inserted between the first casing member 12 and the second casing member 13. In at least one of the first casing member 12 and the second casing member 13, ribs 122 and 132 are formed around a surface where the thermoelectric element 11 is to be inserted while the thermoelectric element 11 is accommodated. |
