A charge/discharge device that controls charge/discharge of an electric-power storage apparatus comprises a heating determination unit that determines whether to heat the electric-power storage apparatus based on a temperature of the electric-power storage apparatus at a time of starting up the electric-power storage apparatus, and a heating control unit that, when it is determined to heat the electric-power storage apparatus, obtains a frequency characteristic of a resistance value of an internal resistance of the electric-power storage apparatus corresponding to a temperature and a charge level of the electric-power storage apparatus and performs control of alternately repeating charge and discharge of the electric-power storage apparatus in a charge/discharge period specified based on the frequency characteristic.
