The present invention relates to carbon nanotubes (CNT) and a method for manufacturing same. To resolve the shortcoming of an existing impregnation method for manufacturing the CNT, which is the difficulty in producing a high yield, the present invention simultaneously controls activity and a powder of an impregnated supported catalyst thereby comprising a three-ingredient carbon nanotube catalyst having a catalyst ingredient and an active ingredient, wherein carbon nanotubes having a particle size distribution value (Dcnt) of 0.5-1.0 and a potato or a sphere shape can be effectively provided at a high yield while using the impregnated supported catalyst.
