PURPOSE: A burner including a device for preventing a backfire is provided to completely burn wooden chips, timber pellets and other fuels, thereby minimizing ashes and reducing environmental pollution caused by dust and soot. CONSTITUTION: A burner including a device for preventing a backfire comprises a burner body, a fuel supplying unit (4), a first air supplying unit, an ignition unit, a flame vent, an air inlet for preventing a backfire (15) and a check damper. The first air supplying unit is connected to the lower part of the burner body and an air blower. The air inlet for preventing a backfire is connected to a fuel inlet and injects air towards the burner body. The check damper is arranged inside the fuel inlet and is opened towards from the fuel supplying unit to the burner body.
