PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which: when a post-processing device is connected, an envelope may not be printed with long-edge feed; and therefore, a user needs to determine whether or not an envelope may be printed with long-edge feed in a device configuration when the post-processing device is connected.SOLUTION: A printer can be connected to a post-processing device, and has printing means for conveying an envelope in a direction orthogonal to a long side of the envelope to print on the envelope. The printer limits to convey an envelope in a direction orthogonal to a long side of the envelope for printing when the post-processing device is connected with the printer. |
