PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrode slurry including (a) an electrode active material capable of occluding and releasing lithium and (b) a monomer capable of forming a polymer via polymerization; an electrode having a binder polymer formed by applying the electrode slurry onto a collector and then carrying out in situ polymerization of the monomer; and an electrochemical element including the electrode.SOLUTION: A binding polymer is formed by polymerization through an electrode drying process using a monomer polymerizable under heat or light, instead of using a PVdF or SBR-based binder. Accordingly, not only simplicity of a manufacturing process for an electrode can be secured, also an aqueous solvent and an electrolyte solvent for a battery can be used as a dispersion medium, so that eco-friendliness is achieved and the ion conductivity of a binder is improved, thereby improving the performance of an electrochemical element. |
