PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception system and program which can finish establishing linkages in a short time as compared with a configuration in which linkage establishment information is transmitted to the other device mutually in parallel.SOLUTION: A transmission/reception system 1 comprises: a first transmission/reception device 2 having parallel/serial conversion units 26A and 26B which serially transmit linkage establishment information via a first lane 31 and a second lane 32; and a second transmission/reception device 4 having parallel/serial conversion units 41A and 41B which, on the basis of the linkage establishment information transmitted from the first transmission/reception device 2, establishes a linkage of the first lane 31 or the second lane 32 whichever corresponding to the received information, as well as a linkage control unit 45 which, when all of linkages of the first lane 31 and the second lane 32 are established by the parallel/serial conversion units 41A and 41B, causes linkage establishment information to be serially transmitted from a parallel/serial conversion unit 42 via a third lane 33, thereby having the first transmission/reception device 2 establish a linkage of the third lane 33. |
